Multicultural Day!
Students will be called to the front of the school beginning at 7:55.  We will begin with the fifth grade class and work downward.   Please bring banners and flags for the parade.

The parade will line up in front of the school.   PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE FRONT LOT TODAY.  The parade route: we will walk to the gate at our entrance, move through the cut through and then move through the bus parking lot.  When arriving at the bus parking lot we will have designated spots for each grade level to sit.  Mrs. Choplin/Mr. Noftle will lead this portion.   At approximately, 8:50-8:55 we will complete this activity and will move the classroom designated on the yellow sheet placed in your mailbox.  If your class is being used as a site for a multicultural event please go to recess during your open slot.  Announcements will be made as to when to change classes.

The parents have met with the multicultural team and are leading the activities.  Teachers are to remain in the room for support and to assist with any discipline that arises.  Staff members have also been assigned to assist our "parent leaders".  Please remember this is a work and progress and the purpose to learn a little bit about another culture and to have fun.  There may be hiccups in the process but the object is to learn and have fun while doing so.

Mrs. Stewart will create a lunch schedule for picking up bag lunches.  You may eat in your classroom or have a picnic.

Thanks to the entire multicultural team for making this day a reality.

SPECIAL CLASSES  WILL RESUME @ 12:55.
