Let's help our housekeeping team keep our school clean!

Each month a representative of the maintenance department tours our school to help detect areas in need of repair and to review the cleanliness of our school.  Mr. Glenn, Mr. Bowers, Mrs. O'Neil and our newest (part time member) Mr. Mabry are working hard to keep the building clean.  We can assist them by doing the following:

  • Teachers check behind students after the class has used the restroom.
  • Remind children to refrain from dumping any item in the water fountain or sink
  • Remind children to throw out old water etc in the toilet and flush.
  • If something small is spilled on the floor~ clean it up.
  • Remind children to pick up items dropped on the floor.
  • Pick up trash in the hall.
  • At the end of the week empty food from refrigerators.
  • Keep clutter off the floors (students & teachers).
Together we can keep our school clean.

* Mrs. Mathews shared the nerve block has assisted with the pain.  She is continuing to have MRI's to help determine how to move forward.
---------------------------------------------------------
PBIS UPDATES:
  • Please remember to refer to your PBIS notebook if you are not certain what constitutes a classroom incident vs. office referral.
  • Students should be redirected when misbehavior occurs.  The correct behavior should be taught to the student.
  • Parents should be notified on the third incident. If the misbehavior is continual please try to make direct contact with the parent.  If you write a note be specific.
  • When the entire page of the classroom managed behaviors has been filled out the D-1 should be completed that day.  It is unfair to a child for a teacher to hold the forms for three-five days and then expect it to be addressed.
  • If you are confused please talk to your PBIS representative.
Continue to give iPaws and iPacks.  Students need to earn these so they can continue to participate in the activities that are planned.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Teacher/Staff Work Hours:
  • If you are going to be late please contact the school, Mrs. Choplin or Mrs. Stewart.
  • All personnel with morning duties should be at their posts by 7:25am.  Teachers should be on campus/signed in by 7:25am.  Teachers should be in their classroom at 7:40 to greet students.
  • Classified Staff Members: If for some reason you need to work later than your assigned hours you must first clear it with an administrator (Choplin/Stewart only).
