What's Up in Science Enrichment with Mr. D....
Kindergarten students are exploring with their senses.
(Mr. D is in need of blindfolds for this activity.)
First Grade students are working with magnets and discovering the magnetic field using compasses.
Second Grade students are studying the concepts of vibration and pitch. They are experimenting how to make different sounds.
Third Grade students are building bridges and talking about gravity, friction, force, motion, and energy.
Fourth Grade students are comparing magnetism to static electricity. This will lead into making electrical circuits.
Fifth Grade students are building solar cookers and studying the concepts of covection, radiation, and conduction.
