REMINDERS/REQUEST:
  • Prior to showing any video or movie to a class please preview the piece in its entirety. If you have question on the content please see Mrs. Choplin or Mrs. Stewart prior to allowing students to view the piece.
  • Any staff who requires a long term substitute (after 2 days) please notify Mrs. Choplin or Mrs. Stewart prior to securing the substitute.
  • If you are aware of an upcoming absence (even the day before) please submit the leave form to Mrs. Choplin for prior approval. This is applies to the entire staff.
  • Submit check requests as quickly as possible to Mrs. Fogg.  She will work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of this week.

4th Grade will be on a field trip today.

Mrs. Hawks has accepted a new position and her last day is today, May 8th.  Best Wishes Mrs. Hawks.

  • Mrs. Fogg will return to Lewisville on May 11 to fill in as the lead secretary.
  • Morning Duties:  Everyone with a morning duty should be at their post no later that 7:25.  If you are going to be late please let us know.  All teachers should be in the hallway outside their door at 7:40.  If you are going to be late please let us know.  This is for the safety of our students.  This is a time of year that students often get into "mischief" when unsupervised.  
  • Planning sheets for next year were due May 1. If you have not turned your form in please do so by the end of the day May 4th.  It will be assumed that if the form is not returned that the employee is willing to serve in any grade level and on any committee.
  • Remember to follow PBIS school guidelines.  If students are given behavioral warnings they should be documented on the PBIS form.  ALL LEWISVILLE EMPLOYEES are expected to complete the PBIS discipline forms. This includes TA's and all speciality area teachers.  If a child is sent to the office for items that are not specifically stated as automatic office referrals, the student may be returned to class.  The form is documentation of behaviors and contacts with parents.
